[EN] Images are central to my work, and can take different forms: animated, sculptural, photographic… Transformed, diverted or created from scratch, they are the raw material for a critical interrogation of the mass media, advertising iconography and digital images that overwhelm us.
Detour is very present in my work, and some of my pieces function as simulacra: the references I exploit are familiar and banal. From a distance, they seem to fit into the aesthetic horizon of fashion and consumerism.
On closer inspection, certain elements appear to be incompatible with the original meaning, prompting trouble and questioning. Through this process, I try to bring out the unspoken, the off-screen, and the underlying violence that structures our relationship with the world.
My work evolves through contact with the places it encounters. The materials, techniques and scenography I use always echo the exhibition context.

[FR] Les images sont centrales dans mon travail et peuvent prendre différentes formes : animées, sculpturales, photographiques…Transformées, détournées ou créées de toutes pièces, elles constituent la matière première d’une interrogation critique sur les mass medias, l’iconographie publicitaire, les images numériques qui nous submergent.
Le détournement est très présent dans mon travail, certaines de mes pièces fonctionnent comme des simulacres : les références que j’exploite sont familières et banales. De loin, elles semblent s’inscrire dans l’horizon esthétique propre à la mode et la consommation.
Lorsqu’on les regarde de plus près, certains éléments apparaissent incompatibles avec le sens premier et en appellent aux troubles et aux questionnements. À travers ce processus, j’essaie de faire ressortir les non-dits, le hors-champ, de dégager la violence sous-jacente qui structure notre rapport au monde.
Mon travail évolue au contact des lieux qu’il rencontre. Les matériaux, les techniques utilisées et la scénographie font toujours écho au contexte d’exposition.
